Stanford QB Andrew Luck increased his Heisman Trophy chances by beating Notre Dame for the third straight time 28 to 14.  Luck was 20 of 30 for 233 yards for four TDs.  Two of the TDs going to WR Coby Fleener who had 4 catches for 97 yards.

Notre Dame starting QB Tommy Rees was pulled after turning the ball over a couple of times.  Andrew Hendrix replaced Rees to guide the Irish offense.  Hendrix went 11 of 24 for 192 yards and a TD.  He was also picked off once.  WR Michael Floyd had 8 catches for 92 yards and a TD in his final game.  TE Tyler Eifert had four catches to become the all-time leader for receptions for a TE at Notre Dame.

With the win Stanford improves to 11 and 1, while the Irish finish the season at 8 and 4 and now will prepare for a bowl game, most likely the Champs Bowl in Orlando on Dec 29th against either an ACC or Big East opponent.
