The Fighting Irish defeated DePaul 84 to 76 Saturday afternoon at the Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.  Junior Center Jack Cooley scored 22 points, pulled down a team high 14 rebounds, and blocked 4 shots as the Notre Dame improved its record to 17-8 and 9-3 in the Big East Conference.  Sophomore Guard Jerian Grant scored 22 points for the Irish in the win, while Guard Eric Adkins added 14.The win is the sixth straight for the Irish, who host Rutgers, the last team to beat Notre Dame back on January 16th, Wednesday night.
